I can relate to this. Back in high school I was very possessive of my supplies, which made me seem like a very mean person whenever someone came over to borrow something. This was mainly because I was tired of people either never returning my pens/pencils/everything, or if they did, it’d be all chewed up and stuff. What ticked me off the most was that they’d use my [relatively] expensive/nice drawing pens to write a WHOLE ESSAY. WHAT.
It hurt me so much, lol. I stopped lending my nicer stuff to random people who came up to me asking for supplies.
